Title: Video Screen Blanks after a few Seconds

So, everything was working perfectly until a windows update.  Now, when I play a movie, the screen goes blank after a couple of seconds.  If i move the mouse it comes back. But, only for another few seconds.  Then, when I exit theater view JRiver stops working and I have to kill and restart JRiver for it to work properly again.  This is so frustrating because everything was awesome before this. 

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?  What was the fix?
