Hi,
I just tried to upgrade to a Master Licence but the check-out page showed the full price and didn't ask for my Registration Code. The purchase page says that a reduced price is available for upgrades. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.

Thanks very much. After searching everywhere, I managed to miss that page! Thanks.

I bought the Master Licence yesterday but have not received any instructions by email. Is this normal? How do I install the licence on Linux?
Thanks.

Did you get the email with your license code and the .mjr file? If so (and you have the .mjr file), on Linux make sure MC is closed and then open the Terminal and type the following in;
mediacenter23 /RestoreFromFile pathtothe.mjrfile
For the pathtothe.mjrfile part you can simply drag and drop the .mjr file into the Terminal to get the path in (please keep in mind you need a space between the /RestoreFromFile and the pathtothe.mjrfile part in addition to the space between mediacenter23 and /RestoreFromFile). I suggest moving the .mjr file to the Linux desktop if your desktop environment supports it. If not, from the normal Downloads folder (in the Home directory) should suffice.
That should do it, you should get a message popped up telling you the restore was successful. Reopen MC and go to Help > Registration Info... to verify your MC is registered. If so, congrats! :)

No, I didn't get any emails :(

Did you check your Spam/Junk folder with your email? If you used PayPal then try this: https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Paypal or https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/paypal_support.cgi
Also, you can try this: https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Restoring_a_License
https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi <<< Try selecting the second option and see if that gets it sent to you.

Thanks AW,
I finally found a way, by saving the mjr file on my Windows PC and moving it by USB key to my Linux PC.
It looks like I'm not receiving (some) JRiver emails? Anyway, it's sorted. Thanks for your help.

Check your spam folder and your updates folder.
-
Yep, checked the spam - nothing.

It's really likely to be on your side. Our e-mail server is pretty reliable. Check with your mail provider for help.
Use another address if necessary.

I'm starting to think that the problem has something to do with that fact that over the years I have used 2 different email addresses to purchase MC19, 20, 21, 22, and 23. When I tried to restore my licence I received an email showing the registration codes for MC19 and MC20 only. When I tried to change the email address, the old one was not accepted. I hope this makes some sense. It's not making much sense to me :)
It would be great if there was a way log on to my JRiver account and change my email address and retrieve my licences etc.

You can change your address if you can log in on the Restore Page. Just enter your old address and your password.
-
When I try to change the email address, I get the message:
"Sorry, we could not find any Registration Codes for that email/password combination."
-
Send me your details.

I received your e-mail. I only found the MC19 and MC20 addresses. Please send me any other address you may have used.
