Title: happened again: trial period expired message!

Running Debian:

I run JRiver already for a long time, bought the licence for Mediacenter 20. Today it happened again, somehow my licence gets corrupted or something like that and I get the message that I need to reinstall my licence. I received a new .mjr file by email but it does not seem to work? I need to double-click on the .mjr file and it will install but it does not? When I doubleclick it opens mousepad. I changed it to open Mediacenter but still no go?

What to do now?

I tried installing thru commandline too but it still tells me the trial period is expired!
