Title: Rip 5 tracks as one???
Post by: JC on June 19, 2003, 07:02:55 pm
For my classical music, there are typically multiple tracks for one Symphonie (etc).

Is there a way to rip a certain number of tracks from a CD as one track?

If not, is this a feature that others would like to see added?

Thanks for your time.

No...it's a feature most (if not all) people want (at least from time to time)...but it hasn't been implemented. EAC does a wonderful job of this though (function is called Copy Range), so there are alternatives.

I guess it's reasonably easy to do using Media Editor. Just rip the tracks in RAW format in MC, join them in ME, and encode to mp3/whatever in MC.

I suppose it depends how frequently you'd need to do this as to whether that was too much work.

...and how accurate MC is with the track split points. EAC is by far the better method for this.
