Title: How work dsd upsampling

Hello,is it possible to know how the jriver engine upsampling in dsd? Which filters do it use, a rendering engine similar to sox? We know nothing about how it is done. thank you

There are a couple of articles from a couple of years ago reporting measurements on MC's conversion from PCM to DSD and those conclude that the process is done quite well.

I have never done upsampling to DSD in JRiver either from DSD or from PCM.  But, from other posts I have seen in this forum,  it is very resource intensive, potentially   problematical and not advised. The other direction, conversion from DSD to PCM, or downsampling of PCM are handled extremely well by JRiver, however.

Resampling of DSD involves a conversion to PCM and then a conversion from PCM to DSD.

Conversion of PCM to DSD is resource intensive in MC as well in other software. It is just the nature of the beast.
