Title: File naming for mp3 conversion
Post by: groo5 on January 10, 2018, 02:24:30 pm
Hello

I have recently purchased JRiver for its great sound.

Now I am trying to convert all my music to mp3 (terrible sound) for my car. I can convert and everything works well but the output file only shows the name of the song (<track>).

This is not very practical with thousands of songs. Is it possible to chose the output file name (ex. <artist> - <album> - <track> - <title>).

Thank you for your help.

JRiver 23.0.91 (64-bit)

In MC's Handheld options you can set up a handheld that is a drive location, then convert to MP3 with options for renaming.  The wiki describes this in more detail.

You can alter the path naming convention, but as far as I know it is still not possible to change the filename convention.
