Not sure if this the right place to ask this question but when I am playing music in JRiver 22.0.108 and doing a search for a song to play next, the sound cuts-off briefly. Any idea?
Thanks

You might try increasing the number of seconds of buffering in MC's audio settings.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, it did not work. Cheers.

Are you playing back on the Mac or a network attached device?

from a NAS. I can't remember when this all started but I am certain that it was not like that several months ago. My Windows version of JRiver does not do that. JRiver also freezes once in a while. I am wondering if this didn't start with the latest Apple updates. I may try JRiver 23 (download the trial version) and see.

You could set up a test library of local files to see what happens.

I think I found the problem. I had installed Norton security (got it free from my employer). I uninstalled it and the problem is gone.
Thanks for your help. Regards.
