How can I update the "last played" tag when I synch files to my DAP? I use my DAP like a juke box: I synch a few hundred songs and play through those. Then I delete all those songs and synch a fresh set of a couple hundred. I'd like to reduce the number of times a given song might be repeated by sorting my list based on how long it's been since I've played a song. Since MC doesn't update "last played" when a song is synched, I'm stuck.

I guess I should say that when my DAP is connected to my computer I've tried:
- opening the DAP within MC, highlighting all the files, using Tools->Library->Mark as Played
highlighting an individual song, using Tools->Library->Mark as Played
highlighting an individual song, opening Tags, directly overwriting the date in the Last Played tag
highlighting an individual song, using Tools->Library->Update Library (from Tags)
highlighting an individual song, using Tools->Library->Update Tags (from Library)
