Title: transfer to handheld - convert files based on file size vs bit rate?

Hi,

I wanted to transfer songs to a Sandisk Clip Sport and it works well through JRiver but I don't understand the options for converting files - I really only want to convert songs (files) that are over a certain size as opposed to a certain bit rate.  Is this possible?  Can someone tell me what is considered a high bit rate when determining which files to convert?
