Title: Small request for macro
Post by: Kurt Young on June 18, 2003, 09:51:52 am
I'm a big fan of the ability to take screen grabs from videos that are being played back.  Thanks for that, BTW.

I would love a macro, menu item, or hotkey that would allow me to take a screen grab, save it to the thumbnails folder, and assign it as the image file/thumbnail for the currently playing video... all in one fell swoop.

I'm just too lazy for my own good.  Anyhow, ya don't get anything if you don't ask, so I'm asking!  8)

Sounds like a REALLY smart idea to me that would really just be one of those things that makes a program soo easy to use.
That special feature that just saves sooo much time - this IS that feature :)

It'd be a great way to assign cover art to films etc - just choose a scene we like, 'click', and it's done :)

Yup, that's what I was thinking.  I dabble with ripping DVD to Divx, and I was thinking a while back... I'd totally dig it if I could just pause playback, click a couple things, and have the thumbnail for that movie be set to what I'm looking at.
