I would like to gain a bit more functionality by creating a toolbar button that would jump to Theaterview Playing Now. The command line is "mc23.exe /MCC 22001,2" a simple method. Is there some way to make a button to execute the command line? Has anyone done this?
Thanks

Hi,
Yes, of course I can do that. What I want to do is to jump to Theater View Playing now, not the Theater view menu. Theater View acts like another app, not an extension of MC. If it's not possible I understand.
Thanks

which toolbar are you referring to? the windows taskbar? a toolbar within MC? which version of windows are you on?

a simple way to do this would be to put the command in a bat file and pin that to the taskbar, if this is one of the 1st nine icons in your taskbar then win+<that number> will trigger the command
alternatively you can use autohotkey to respond to arbitrary key commands

Not in MC (I tried to get it into MC's "Send to" menu, but couldn't get it to work), but, you could pin it to your Windows Taskbar...
Right click on your desktop, "New > Shortcut"
Paste the command in without the quotes... mc23.exe /MCC 22001,2
Press "Next" and give it a name.
Drag your new shortcut over the taskbar and pin it there.
