Title: Route front left channel to surround back channel.
Post by: flac.rules on February 01, 2018, 12:30:25 pm
Might seem like a weird request, but the left front channel on my amp has started to act weird, so I want to output a 7.1 signal, (i have a 5.1 setup, but the amp is 7.1), and route the left and right front to the surround rear-channels, and hook my left (or both left and right if its more convenient) speaker to the surround rear output on the amp.

Is there a way to do this?

set output format to 5.1 in a 7.1 container & use a "mix channels" option in the PEQ stage to "move" the channel

It worked. Being able to do crazy stuff like this is why i love this program! :) It just saved me a new amp.
