Hello again,
the main purpose why I choose JRiver MC is the Theatre View and I am quite happy with it, even using the "out of the box" Obsidian theme\skin
There is one annoying (for me...) feature I would like to remove and I read several threads without finding the solution.
I would like to remove the "rating" bar at the bottom of the screen in Playing Now.
Any suggestion?

In MC's options, you can customize Theater View. What you want may not be possible, but please look there.

Unfortunately seems to me that in MC control panel there are no options\flags to disable the rating bar (I mean the tool with stars to rate the track at the very bottom of the screen when in "now playing" mode).
I looked at every XML config file and I can not see any entry regarding this.

No it's not possible to remove the ratings from Playing Now in theater view. Not via options and not with a skin. But it would be great option for those of us who don't use ratings.

I don't use the ratings either, so I agree it would be great option to be able to remove it for Music and Movies/TV Series.
Also I suggest the option to remove the Volume in Playing Now (Theater View). I only change the volume in the amplifier and it displays "Volume n/a" so it is useless.
I like to have a clean interface with only the options I use and I think there may be many people not using ratings or using the volume in the amplifier.

I tried almost everything... can not find any way to remove the rating bar at the bottom of the windows...
I do not use the volume since I control it with the DAC and it is the same.... no way to remove volume buttons.
Any news?

Some elements in Theater mode just cannot be removed/moved. For example, I NEVER use "Play All". I, and others, have requested "Play All" be removed or just moved permanently, so it's never highlighted by default. Unfortunately no serious consideration or progress has been made. Only suggestion that works for me is to move past it and try enjoy what you have.
