Title: Format conversion for iPhone
Post by: MrMoto on February 11, 2018, 10:10:03 am
Hi folks, I'm trying to send music to my iPhone using an app called imazing. For this I want to export a playlist to a folder and convert the contents to mp3 format.
I can't find a way to do this in MediaCenter. I've done it in the past but it doesn't seem to work anymore.
I'm running MC22 on a MacMini.
Can anybody help?
Thanks,

Here's a little more information:
I've setup a device, actually a folder on my Mac and setup the conversion parameters in which I've identified the playlist I want to be transferred.

When I go to this playlist and click on Send to device and select the device, instead of sending only the files in that playlist it starts sending my whole library. Also it doesn't convert them to mp3 like I have selected in the settings.

Am I doing something wrong?

Found a way: Select all files in the playlist and use Tools/Advanced tools/Convert Format.

In the options you can select to create a copy with the new format and leave the original. You can also specify the destination.
