Title: System hangs during playback

During playback, my computer hangs for about 10 or 15 seconds, then resumes.  I get no errors, and the song that is playing just goes into a loop on that one note.  This happens intermittently, maybe every 30 minutes or so.

I don't notice whether this is happening when I don't have MC running because I have no other application that runs continuously in the foreground.

Did you shutdown MC and start it again?  In my case, it solved my problem.  I got the same problem once about a week ago.  Reported it here.  No response.
