Title: Last played info in Tag window gone
Post by: jtully107 on February 13, 2018, 06:16:21 pm
In MC22 the Tag window would display how long ago a track was last played calculated in hours, days or years. MC23 does not do that. Is this info available elsewhere in MC23? It was an interesting stat to check on.

[Last Played] is still there, in the "Playback" section of the new tag window. It was the basis for the calculated field you saw in MC22, and is in Date and Time format.

Almost universally, JRiver doesn't remove tags or functionality with new versions, but I guess minor tweaks in the interface are to be expected.

You could add a calculated tag to your library, to work out how long ago a file was played, and display that somewhere appropriate in the new tagging window, or perhaps just as a column in a view.

If you have just upgraded from MC22, the new Tagging window would be a new layout for you. It is configurable and quite flexible, but is very different to the old tagging window.
