I'm trying to figure out where JRiver is looking for its background art. I have the online slideshow turned on but all the sources unchecked. It is my understanding that this will show my jpeg files within that music folder. So today I'm listening to all John Mellencamp (all his albums). In list mode it is showing the proper artwork for the album of the current track playing - but in the background is it showing the album art for his album Human Wheels. That picture remains in the background as the players is randomly playing songs from all of his albums.
So I'm just trying to figure out where it looks for these background images....I would love to know so I can customize a bit more. Additionally, does the program have different rules for the background image if I'm in playing now mode, vs list, etc...?
Thanks for any ideas

for me each album has its own folder ... and those folder contain background art
see https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,114439.msg791467.html#msg791467 (at the end it discussed naming of files)
take this opportunity to remind that I am still holding my breath for this to be implemented for movies and TV shows :)

also ... I noticed (and reported) bug with albums that are stack together ... if you browsing artist, his albums will be stacked ... selecting that stack will pick one of the album's backgrounds to be displayed ... when you enter that stack and start selecting/playing albums/track there, MC will keep displaying one of album's backgrounds it chose initially for that stack (instead of picking background for correct album)
not sure if this is what you observing

Yes, this is exactly what is happening. I guessed it is still an issue:)
