Title: Using JRiver as a portable application to batch convert music
Post by: jachin99 on March 06, 2018, 01:54:14 pm
I'm looking for something that can batch convert all of my music from WMA to MP3 for portable devices.  I don't want to install JRiver on the machine that has all of my music, and I would like to add IDv2.3 tag information during the conversion.  Can I use JRiver for this?

I haven't checked, but I assume this Custom installation option is still there:

EDIT: Yep, still there.

I got all my files converted from wav to mp3 360 KB.  I did this over my home network with jrmc on a thumb drive.  I used a USB 2.0 port and it took about a day and a half for 3000 songs.
