I have some flac files that do not play at all using MC23. I was using MC20 before and I had no problem playing them.
I wanted to send one of them as an attachment but the file in zip format is 20MB so I am not allowed to attach them.
Can you please give me an email address so I would be able to email them to your support team.
Thank you

what exactly you mean by not playing them?
MC crashes? ... MC hangs? ... MC does not add them to library?
-
I apologize that I was not clear enough. I don't use the library, I play files in Windows Explorer by double clicking the flac files. The files that don't play are not added to the "Playing Now" queue. Most of my files play without any problem at all. I have just upgraded from MC20 to MC23. In MC20 I had no problem to play them. They are still playable using Windows Media Player. I was checking if they are corruct using a program FlacFrontEnd but it did not find any problem with them. I tried adding them to MC Library but it did not add the files.
There is something strange about the files that don't play they are "Mono Files", bit rate 749bps, bit depth 24, sample rate 48 KHz. Are there any new restrictions now in MC23 not to play Mono files etc.?

Try setting the Output Format to 2 Channels (Stereo) in DSP Studio.
It sounds like your device does not accept mono inputs.

It does not even import the folder with files to the MC library. Importing the files is not dependent upon the file numbers of channels format.

Sorry, I missed that.
People often use services like Dropbox to share files for testing.

Thank you RD James. I uploaded the zip file which contain one of the flac files that do not play.

That file plays fine for me using the latest Media Center.
However, it is mono (one channel file) so DSP Studio needs to probably be set to convert to stereo.

Hello Matt,
Please have a look at the following link:

I understand why it did not play it was because of the following:
I have asked you to have an option for my DSD files and it is working wonderfully, but if I insert this option now it will not play these PCM files which are Monos. I inserted the following per your instruction to View->User [Channels]=[2].
Is there another command that I can use or add to this statement to include Monos as well as Stereo files.
Thanks

Is this the right command:
[Channels]=[2] or [Channels]=[1]
-
Use: [Channels]=<=2
-
Use: [Channels]=<=2
Thank You
