Hello All,
I am new to JRiver and I have a setup question. I am a Windows 7 Pro user and I would like to set up JRiver on an external hard drive to use at work (strictly for listening to music). The problem is, I can only use the external hard drive in read only mode at work. I currently have all of my music on the external hard drive. I also have a license for MC 23.0.102. I do not have a need to add/remove tracks or update playlists while at work...I just want to be able to listen to the music already on the hard drive with MC while at work. I know there is a portable install option but I am not sure if there is a way to get this working given the hard drive will be in read only mode. Does anyone have any suggestions?
