Title: Auto Import Crashing on Mint 18

Please help, my Linux knowledge is limited, but I do know my way around. When trying to auto-import files from either my HDD or External HDD MC 23 just crashes.... help... thanks

Likely a bad file if it's happening during auto-import. I'd enable logging and look at the last parts of the log for any hints at what the bad file(s) may be.
