Hi, I have windows version of jriver with licence.
I have come to the end of my tether with windows insistence on updating every other day, and wanted to move to linux.
Is the only way for me to move to that OS is to purchase another licence?

Yes, it's a different license. You can upgrade to a Master License for $27.98 right now.

I moved jriver to linux for the same reasons several months ago. Took me awhile to learn linux; but overall couldn't be happier with my dedicated jriver linux box. When booted it up, it plays music; PERIOD! No updates other than new music being added to the library. It just works.

I do hope you have unattended-upgrades (or the like) to automatically download and install important security fixes.
