Bumping this one over to the MC24 portion of the forum.
I'd like to see if this would be an available feature. My setup consists of an older 2 channel DAC being fed by my HTPC through toslink. This DAC is an older Sonic Frontiers that only does PCM up to 16/48 2ch. Because of this, I use JRSS downmixing and output PCM to it, and for anything higher than 48khz sampling, I bump it down to a max of 48khz.
Now to my request, I'd like the option of being able to individually adjust channel volume (mainly CENTER). I'd like to be able to boost the center a few DB without doing anything else. I don't want to change the dynamics of anything else, just simply make the center channel a little louder all the time during movies.
I can use "night mode" in the DSP studio, and they help with the center channel, but it also seems to take out the dynamic range of everything else (and it feels like it compresses the bass a little).
Another option would be to have another "mode" that boosts center like Night Mode does, but does not compress dynamics.
Is this a feature that can be added?
Thanks!

I second that request, even if my DAC is not that old and supports most common bitrates/sample rates ;)

Hm, didn't Matt work on this? Matt, any news? :)
-
Please oh please let this be worked on. ;D

so you only have a right, left speaker and no center correct?

Yep correct.

This request is on our radar, bumping won't make it go any faster at this point. :)
I cannot provide an ETA however.

+ 1,000,000! I know it won't make it go any faster, but this would be a huge thing for me and my mostly deaf ears!!!
