Title: field mapping of meta data in pictures
Post by: HE on April 24, 2018, 07:17:12 pm
Hello everyone, is there a way to map fields of the meta data information while importing jpeg files? I'm importing photos from the Macs Photo-App. These are containing among other information names of the recognized faces. These are shown in the field "keywords" of MCs tag info and I'd love to map it to "Persons" . Other data is transferred into the correct fields btw. Any Ideas are welcome thank you.

You can copy tags in MC from one to another.

Maybe Carnac (on the wiki).

Hi Jim, thank you for your comment. That is a good idea, but I'm afraid I'd have to do this for every single file. Is it also possible to map the fields of the metadata in my photos to certain fields of the metadata in JRiver during the import of a folder in any way?
