...somewhere through panel, gizmo or any other networked service ?? I'm only discovering the television abilities of MC but haven't found any reference to it outside of standard view and theaterview.

No.
Even a playlist of TV Channels won't play live TV. But you can play any recordings you have made.
The only option for remote TV at present is another installation of MC, running as a Client of the server.

Using Panel to watch any sort of HD video on a mobile device doesn't work. Transcoding takes place on Server and it is VERY cpu intensive (even on an i5-7500 3.4GHz, 16GB ram, with Jmark of 5155). If you are doing tv recording on the Server, someone is watching a show on the Server, and then you try to watch HD video via Panel on a mobile device... watch your Server CPU go through the roof! and don't be surprised if MC on the Server crashes.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm not trying to stream tv channels to a remote/handheld device. I have one central/main jriver server who know holds epg data for several channels, and MC clients accross the house.
What I was after is to be able to consult the EPG i have on my central jriver server on an ipad for instance.

Oh ya, you mean:
....these are what's (still) on my wish list:
- Easy Android App to view/edit recording schedule list.
- Fully functional MC Android App / Tv Client with Theater View.

There is an android app that lets you stream TV from your JR server. It's called eos, by Lenworth Rose.
It's not under active development, but still works.
