Title: JRiver 23 won't forget a previously ripped CD

This is weird. I am ripping hundreds of CD's and suddenly JRiver won't forget a previously ripped CD. I eject the CD, put in a different CD but for all intents and purposes JRiver recognizes and rips the previously ripped CD which has been ejected. It's reproducible. Of course I have restarted my PC and JRiver numerous times to no avail. I'm out of ideas and grateful to anyone who can resolve this mystery.

Welcome to the forum.  Try powering everything down and back up.
