Title: Problem playing audio on DVD drive?

I am using MC9 with a Sony cdrw and a Sony DVD playing music between the two drives. When playing the DVD drive I get silence about 1/4 second long multiple times every second or two. It works fine playing games or DVDs but on any audio type CDs I get this problem. Sometimes it works for awhile and then this happens. Is this a media center problem or a hardware or other software problem. Can you plese help?
