It does import and play dsf files.
Are they readable and on a mounted share (if not local?)

MC21 played DSF without any problem.

I just upgraded to MC24 and installed on Ubuntu 18.04.  Now DSF files can not be played.  MC freezes or does nothing.  When I forward to a non-DSF file, it plays again.

Do you have DSD bitstreaming enabled?

Do you have DSD bitstreaming enabled?

When I open DSP studio setting on the Linux server, I see an empty window.!

Empty window aside (which is probably its own issue, as DSP Studio looks fine to me), it's not located in DSP Studio.

MC's Options > Audio > change Bitstreaming from None to DSD.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the MC.  DSP window opens.

I should have mentioned that I am playing over network.  I had to setup the DLNA server settings -> Audiophile 24-bit DAC  -> DSP studio. Output coding: None,  2 channel stereo. Now I can play DSF.  Somehow, these settings did not transfer correctly from the version 21 to 24.
