Title: Occasional crash

Noticing a (non-repeatable) crash in this specific situation with build .30:

Using the "Songs - All" view - I search for a title using the upper right search box. I find my track and start it playing. While it's playing - I search for another and then start it playing - creating a standard crossfade. I usually sample a track for maybe 10 seconds and then move onto the next.

In about every 2-3 out of say - 7 searches like this today - MC displays a crash window ("MC has stopped responding etc etc) and I must do a hard close.

Also noticed that the actual search itself seems shaky - like it's fighting thru molasses or something to display search target "suggestions". The whole interface feels sluggish - whereas this seemed much smoother in the last build of v23.

Will add an exclusion for v24 and see how that goes.
