Hi, already discussed in German Forum, but not with a satisfied result.
Running Win 7 64bit and I cannot "Manage Library Fields", MC24 (current version) crashed totally, imediatelly when I try to open menu.
I noticed similar problems before with Win 10, same PC, same hardware, sometimes I could get into menu and sometimes not. I had to install Win complete new from Win10 to Win7 (both 64bit, of course), but this is another story...
Manually import is ok, everything else too, and stable so far (Win 7 and MC24). The only way to get into menu is in safe mode.
This is what my PC says:

Any ideas?

I don't know of an issue like that. Pop up blocker? Antivirus?
-
No Pop up blocker, only running Microsoft Security Essentials, but with exception folder MC, disable it makes no changes, still crashing. firewall looks ok to me. Same problem with a new, blank library. And same with installed MC24 32bit.
And again: New installed Win7 64bit without any problems, and also MC24 64bit, but not auto-import.
Something in hardware, BIOS? Hope not....

Try MC's logging:

Video driver?

Log attached,
Video driver:
AMD Radeon HD 7660D, v13.152.0.0, dated 30.08.13 / driver package 13.152-130830a-162123C-Rage_6, AMD A10-5700 APU

Try reading the previous log. There may be a problem shown at the end. Look for the word crash.

There are a lot of socket bind failures for 192.168.2.195 Port: 1900 which could indicate that something is blocking that port which is necessary for SDP. Your second log shows a crash when looking for disk X: Is there a disk X on your system. I would definitely check your firewall for port 1900 access.

That looks like it's a five year old driver. It would be worth updating it.

ok, first I created new firewall rules, but no changes, and then.....disk x is an usb stick on my router. I disconnected and now everything is ok, unbelievable.
New driver not tested yet, But yes, maybe I will do an update one day, but for now it works and I am so happy :-)
Many, many thanks guys....and girls?
PS: Same problem and solution in Win 10, my other PC. Just disconnect drive X, that's it.

Guys is good for me, don't know about JimH! I would delete the logs you uploaded as they contain your computer username. Glad we could assist you.
