Title: database management

MC 24 now states upon opening " database is read only, any changes made will be lost upon exit." How do I change this so I can add  media?

You probably have another copy of MC running.  Either on the same machine or on a client.

Did you try rebooting?

At the time, there was no other MC installed. I have since reinstalled MC 23 which does not display that message and allows me to add to the database. When MC 24 came out, and both 23 and 24 were installed, database was not read-only. That just happened 2 days ago.
