Hi,
i have a little problem using shoutcast radio in theater mode. when i choose shoutcast and choose an radio station, it starts to play normaly, but jriver doesnt react anymore. not with mouse, keyboard or with ir remote. so i had to start taskmanager and kill jriver process.
i have the actual version, but this problem is since last two or three versions of v24. i dont know when this behaviour starts.
can someone else confirm that behaviour?
system is windows 10 64bit, actual with all updates, build 1803

Nobody expects the inquisition! I can confirm that shoutcast is working fine in theatre view win 10 64 bit fully updasted, MC 24.0.40.
-
hmmm thanks for your answer.
i dont know whats the reason is for the behaviour of mc by using shoutcast?
-
What set up are you using and have you checked that there is no antivirus software or firewall settings interferring with MC?
-
i changed nothing on my system, it works long time without problems and since short time it doesnt work.
antivirus only runs windows defender.
-
Can you check in windows defender that MC 24 has permission to acces the internet?
-
i will next time, at the moment i can't. but dont believe there are some blocks cause the other internet radios are working.
shoutcast is also working, the chosen radio station is playing, but mc24 doesnt react anymore after the radio station starts to play.
but i will check tomorrow

So i looked but theres nothing who should block shoutcast. Its all like it was before when it worked. i changed the engine from chrome to ie and back in mc but that doesnt matter (if this should matter at all?).
the chosen station starts playing and mc stands still and play radio till i call task manager with contr+alt+del and kill it.

Sorry Inquisition,
I was selecting shoutcast from the streaming menu then going to theater view - which works.
But if you add shoutcast to the theater view options menu it definitely kills jriver and only a crtl alt del into task manager and closing Mediacenter gets you out of it.
My apologies.

No problem.
That's what I do. Shoutcast is put in theatres view and when I start it there it crashes.
Maybe an admin can look over it for one of the next updates and fix this.
-
Definitely a bug
-
Should be fixed in the next build. Thanks for testing.
-
Sounds good.
Thanks

I test shoutcast starting over Panel and this works also fine.
Is MC in Theatre View then it jumps to Playing now screen and works normal.
The Problem is only when Shoutcast is as option in theatre view and startet there.
