Every recording since upgrading to 24.0.41 is coming out in small chunks. Some shows are in 2 or 3 pieces, others are in more than 20 pieces. Tuners are not rebooting. MC is not crashing. Just the recordings are starting and stopping multiple times.
Rolled back to 24.0.37 and problem has gone away.

One thing that came to mind is running out of disk space.
Is your disk space low? If not, we will then have to look for other causes tomorrow.
-
No, there's plenty of space... Thanks.

Antivirus?

I think I figured this out. It is related to my latest change of moving refreshing of recording actions to a worker thread. That part is still OK, but another thread, with client merging database with the server, reset the actions cache without reloading it.
I have fixed this and will do some testing to confirm that it is fixed before merging my code for the next build.

Thanks Yaobing, for your investigation and solution.
When do you think this could be released or tested by us as well ?
I've rolled back to previous build on my Server machine in meantime.
Clients are up-to-date.
Thanks.

All I can say is it will be in the next build. I don't know when it will come out as it is not built yet.
I noticed something in your log that I was not able to reproduce. Your server was getting lots of database merge calls from clients, every minute or two. I am not seeing it on my computer. I got the calls only when I do something on the client, such as scheduling a TV recording or modifying an existing recording rule on a client. Must be some setting that was doing it.

Thanks Yaobing,
Do you need a log from my system aswell ?
Guessing you're referring to Tzr916's log.

Yes I was referring to tzr916's log. Sorry I did not even realize that a different person had posted. I do not need a log from you at this time. Let's wait until the new build is out so you can test it.
