Not sure if this one belongs here or in one of the "device" forums....

Recently got a Xiaomi MI BOX (Android TV OS).  details here: https://www.mi.com/en/mibox/ (https://www.mi.com/en/mibox/)

Is anyone using one of these with JRiver serving content via DLNA?  I'm looking for recommendations on media player apps for it.

JRemote and Gizmo are not available in the play store (guessing not listed as compatible with Android TV).  I'll be making an attempt to side load them.

Panel works on an Android TV box - I've been using it and it works fine. JRemote/Gizmo on the other hand doesn't work so well from my limited testing.

Otherwise, you'll have to wait and see if MO 4Media (https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,114964.0.html) adds Android TV support at some point. It's on the developer's to-do list.

May I ask what browser you are using on the MiBox?  I installed Puffin TV, but couldn't get it to load panel (never got to the stage of providing authentication credentials)

Chrome installed & Panel accessed

Having playback issues (stuttering /delays) with video.  Will try to find a USB / Ethernet adapter so I can isolate the wireless network
