Title: Simple Network Music for a home network
Post by: daveaos on July 21, 2018, 10:58:17 am
I would like to set up I guess would be a simple home music system, Essentially to be able to use a remote (android phone or  Kindle) to open the Media Center and play music that I have stored on a Buffalo NAS. I have been using the Amazon Cloud Music Player, but they are continually raising the price and limiting the number stored. I need help on configuration and set up.

Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,

 Dave

Just download MC, install it, and import your files.  See "Getting Started" in my signature.

Once you have it running, try adding a remote.  The wiki has a topic on Remotes.  You might also read the topic on Media Network.
