Title: Panel and Cover Art
Post by: hoyt on July 23, 2018, 07:29:34 pm
Panel doesn't seem to render the cover art the same way that MC does.  For example, in MC I have a level of audio files for live recordings.  I enter a set of tags on all of these recordings specifically to show the cover art how I want:

1) Series - I renamed this field in my tags to Series/ Tour and I enter the year of the tour, for example, Summer 2018
2) Season - I renamed this field in my tags to Season/ Show and the MC import rules find the dates in the folders and make it the date of the concert, for example 2018-07-07.

Then in MC (and Theatre View), this overrides the embedded cover art of those files and shows me the poster from that show, which I named and placed in my cover art folder.

I think Panel should use the same cover art rules as standard view and theatre view.  The only way I think I could get around this would be to embed the concert's poster into each FLAC.  That would be problematic though because in some years I have 5,000+ files.  I don't want to take a 200 kb image and multiply it by 5,000.  That would take what is 40 mb of JPEGs and turn it into 1 gb of FLAC file growth - for just one year.

Thanks!
