Title: Transfering Playlists

I have just converted from Microsoft Media Player to Media Center 9.  All has gone well thus far, with the only problem lying in the transference of my Microsoft Media Player playlists to MC9.  Regardless of what I try, I can not seem to import them into MC9.  Short of manually rebuilding all of my playlists, does anyone have an easier way to transfer them from Media Player to MC9?

What version of WMP are you using?  WMP9 uses XML for its playlists, and MC doesn't support importing that type.

If you are handy with macros and a text editor (I recommend UltraEdit), then reformatting the XML playlist to a plain old MPL or M3U playlist would only take a couple of minutes.

M3u's are just text files which MC can import. Here's what jewel.m3u looks like to NotePad...
