Title: Theater View Rating Stars
Post by: HPBEME on August 09, 2018, 11:30:01 pm
So this is an old problem. It was fixed a couple of years ago, but now seems to be broken again in version 24.

One used to be able to mouse click the stars at the bottom of the Playing Now page to edit the star count (just like standard view). You can still modify the rating using the keyboard cursor arrows, but I typically only have my mouse readily at hand when I'm using theater view.  I don't want to always have a keyboard in my lap, or have to reach the keyboard on the coffee table just to change a song's rating (and before anybody suggests it… I also never use a remote control).

I would be most appreciative if you could return the behavior to its previous state. Thanks in advance.

Gee, I remember coding that!  And it's not working now.

Here's the history:
23.0.72 (10/12/2017)
Changed: Made the stars in Theater View's Playing Now clickable (before they only responded to keyboard input).

I'll follow up after I look at the code today.

It just looks like it was never implemented in the Open GL branch of the code.

Next build will add it.

Thanks for the help :)

What a lightning quick response! Most appreciated... thanks for taking care of this Matt.  I look forward to the next release.
