Nothing more to say. My CD-RW supports CDText and various versions of MJ8 had the same problem, others did not.

Hi gvag,
How are you verifying whether the cd-text got burned on the CD?

Sorry, I should have reported back but I got caught up in other things. It's a session thing.
When MC showed no CD Text for the just burned CD I tried EAC to see what it said. Same thing no text. When my wife put it in our LR system the CD Text showed up. After a reboot both programs could read the CD just fine.
I'll try another burn in the next day or so and I will report back on the results.

Must have been an errant error. Used MC to burn after a reboot and it read the CD Text just fine.
