Dear all,
Wavpack 5 now supports encoding and decoding of DSD files in "native" format. Accordinding to the Wavepack website, the Windows version of JRiver Media Center should support playing of such .wv files in DSD format.
However, when I try to play such a Wavepack DSD file with bitstreaming option set on "Yes (DSD)", the playback is very weird (i.e. very slow speed with lowered pitch, white (or similar) noise, clics, etc.).
I use JRiver Media Center 24.0.41 (x86) on a Windows 8.1 machine with my DSD compatiable DAC connected via USB.
NB : Playback of regular DSD files (.dsf or .dff) with bitstreaming option set on "Yes (DSD)" works well.
Is there any way to fix this (other than playing .wv files in PCM format) ?
With regards,
Opawesome
PS : I am soon going to buy a license anyway but fixing this problem would be awesome.
