I recently got a new HTPC and thought I'd covered myself by having a library backup on another machine. However, when I did the restore I noticed that half my cover art was missing. At some point I'd changed to having cover art located in the same folder as the file but as I say half were stored in the default directory on my old (now disposed of) HTPC. For some reason, if I right click on any of these albums with missing cover art and do a 'Search from the internet' it comes back with nothing.
I've read numerous threads about looking at the managing links option but I can't see anywhere how to point jriver to look at a specific URL when searching on the net? Like for example how do i make it search https://albumartexchange.com/ when i click search from internet?
Thanks in advance

If you moved your cover art to a new folder, check what it's set to in MC under File Locations. Maybe it's different.

It's on a completely different PC now. My FLAC files are located on a NAS device whereas the default location for half the cover art was on my old HTPC.

Which is why I always embed the cover art into the file - that way I can't easily lose it.

So does anyone know how to change where JRiver looks for cover art when searching via the internet option?
-
I don't think you can - but you can always use mp3tag to do the job. I might be wrong, I often am.

here is a free app that works great finding high res cover art....
