Title: Can't connect via Gizmo without Internet

Please stop preventing this.  I have terrible internet service, and without connection, I'm often unable to connect to my server sitting on my local network.  It keeps searching for an internet address, then never connecting.

PLEASE make whatever it's trying to do on the internet and optional part of connecting.

I suspect you're checking your database to see if my IP has changed, okay. If you cant connect, just assume nothing has changed and connect with the local IP address you already know.

i feel your pain ... my internet is terrible too ... and to have pretty relevant movie backdrops for theatre view i need internet ... been asking for ability to use locally stored backdrops for slideshows ... but so far have to live with static backrops :(
