Title: Second Annual glynor Omaha Steaks Award

It's been a few years, but we gave glynor a box of steaks for winning last time.  He won because he had done a great job of helping other people get the hang of JRiver Media Center.  If I recall correctly, it was a tie with MrC and they both got a cold box of steaks.

So, any nominations for the Second Annual prize?  Someone who has just been a big help to you or others?

When we get a few names, I'll put them in the blender and choose a winner.

oh so many....I will be back. the order is just how I went about to find, then copy and paste! I'm sure I will run across a few more...been here reading daily since the end of JRiver MC 17   probally under a different account and user name... :-X

jmone has my vote. Nathan has gone above and beyond as of late, for Swag of Tools and especially all the BD menu/UHD testing he's done with Hendrik which has resulted in MC's BD menu/UHD compatibility improving considerably in such a seemingly short time.

Thanks for a few mentions on being helpful.  I'm glad the nominations have not been for the most annoying user or I'd have a few more!

If we can vote for a JR'er I'd nominate Hendrik - It's been a pleasure testing all the Video Stuff he has been doing!  If not I really would like to vote for the Beta Team as a group + there is always new and enthusiastic users who bring a different perspective that Jim adds to this group from time to time.

Nice to see my name above, but not worthy of any award - even though I'm here every day for many years now and always happy to help if I can, I'm nearly always beaten to the punch by others, eg  blgentry and marko, in particular seem to have consistently been there helping out when I look at a new thread...

Well, I nominate Jmone, because his work on the Blu-ray stuff has been brilliant, and no doubt time consuming, year. Although it was really a team effort with Hendrik on JRiver's side. The Blu-ray functionality has been a boon for my enjoyment of media.

He helps in a lot of other areas as well. Plus he is an Aussie, so can't be a bad bloke!

But truthfully I think everyone nominated, and many, many other contributors on the forum, provide great value to JRiver and the community.

If forced to pick one, I think jmone has had the most impact on me overall since glynor and MrC won steaks. He is also game for a laugh, and incredibly humble in his recommendations and reminders for features, bug reports etc.

I'll cast my votes this time around for RoderickGI (who has the patience of a saint), mattkhan, and Awesome Donkey, although I think all of the beta team members do Yeoman's work, and I owe a debt of gratitude to many (including jmone)!
