Title: No image doubling in Madvr?
Post by: jorsan on September 23, 2018, 09:02:10 pm
I just add a GTX 1050 ti GPU to my HTPC and Im starting to configure MadVR, but looks like MAdVR's "image doubling" is not an option. Is there something wrong with my version of JRiver or is really not there?. All the I have in Scaling algorithms are: Chroma upsampling, image downsizing, image upsampling and upscaling refinement
thanks

i assume you are using Red October HQ

image doubling (or quadrupling) options are under [image upsampling].

you need to choose a scaling algorithm that supports it (xbr or ngu)

The doubling options have moved recently to be consolidated under the scaling tab, instead of a seperate one. I assume your guide didn't update for that yet.
An up-to-date guide on the settings can be found here: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=171787
