Hello - I was wondering if the newest version supports viewing image files saved in the .HEIC format? HEIC is the image format Apple has moved to and replaces the .JPEG format. I'm considering buying JRiver but want to ensure it supports this newer format.
If it doesn't, are there plans to support the .HEIC format in the near future?

Bumping up question, looking for a reply.

It doesn't support HEIC at this time.
We are looking at it.

That will do it in windows itself not MC.
Hendrik has mentioned a library we might be able to use.

Oh sorry. I thought jriver used/could use filters from windows too.

It's best if it's cross-platform, so MC for Mac and Linux can benefit in addition to Windows.
