Title: Links don't work in help file
Post by: ventilatedslacks on May 31, 2003, 07:29:14 pm
Does anyone know why links in the right-hand pane of the help file do not work? I can move around by clicking on the items in the left hand menu, but any internal links in the help content (e.g., the links under Related Topics) don't seem to work.

do you have an ad blocker?

if so turn it off some will allow you to hold down CTRL or somthing then click on a link.

No, I don't have an ad blocker so that's not the problem. I checked other compiled HTML help files that I have for other programs and they work fine. And any external links in the MC help file work - it's just any of the links whose source comes up as something like: href="JavaScript:RT_84.HHClick()" that don't work.

It's semi-manageable as it is but end up kind of defeating the purpose of a cross-referenced, hyperlinked help file  ;)

Any of the links categorized under Related Topics as well as any other links that point to another location within the help file (as opposed to an external website). I even tried reinstalling Media Center, but I'm still getting the same problem.

Unfortunately that doesn't work either. Oh, well.
