Title: removal of duplicates in playlists

How does JRiver chose what duplicates to remove. For example, if i have a 80"s Hit list and a Super 80's hit list. One list is mp3 and the other is flac. There, of course will be duplicates. When i set a modifier in either a playlists or smartlist i use "remove duplicates of" and I type in  "Name". Does JRiver remove the duplicates randomly, by date imported, format or some other way.
