Ive got a problem with 2 recently imported large jpegs. MC will not display these two files, either as thumbnails or in playing now. It shows their properties accurately, however. I can open/display these files without problem in other apps. The filesizes are 6000 x 8410 - 6.598 MB and 16832 x 12064 - 23.464 MB. Anyone got any idea why MC would exhibit this behaviour?

We cap our JPEG loading at some dimensions. (I don't remember for sure but it's at like 10 or 20 mega-pixels)
The limit is there for performance reasons. Maybe we should up it or remove it though.

Remove it!
I've run into this problem also.

Thanks Matt - The 2 pictures I have are photos from my wedding that I scanned specifcally to push my new (at the time) scanner and test my new (at the time) printer, and I put the results in photo frames. I always thought they were a bit overkill - and I can live without them in my library.
But I believe there are 10 megapixel top-end DSLR cameras out there now. If it slows up the whole thing then I can understand, but MC should at least show that it recognises these files and can deal with them.
