Title: Unable to format IPOD drive

I hate MM (8.0) and downloaded Media Center 9 yesterday to try out. I walked through the instructions at http://www.home.earthlink.net/~ashawley01/ but can't seem to get past step one.

My IPOD shows up as IPOD(G: ) inside Media Center. I have MM turned off so as to not interfere. Finally, I have performed a restore using the Ipod Manager so my IPOD is clean as a whistle.

However, in the instructions, it says to right-click on the IPOD drive and choose format ... I have no format option available. When I try to send music, MC9 tells me that my ipod isn't formatted properly, but I can find no way to format it.

The options that show up in the right-click menu are:

Add Folder
Delete
Rename

Import ...
Navigation                       >
=====================================

Delete and Rename are grayed out on my list. All other options are available.

Please help!

Are you look at the iPod drive under CD, DVD, & Handhelds?
