Latest version is probably already included with MC.

Just uploaded 3.98 alpha 1: http://www.monkeysaudio.com

Media Center already plays / tags 3.98 files, but MC will be updated with the latest encoding / decoding in a few days.

Thanks.

Wow.  I'm glad to see new alpha release of MAC.

Is it possible to check a thread below?  I just tried MakeAPL in 3.98 alpha 1.  Made cue file using UTF-8.  Made .APL files by new MakeAPL.  Imported them from MC9, but no luck.  All Japanese song name appears strange.  Thank you.  Wish next the latest encoding / decoding plugin solves this problem.   ;)

Make the APL files using the new "super-alpha" GUI.  It's fully Unicode, so should hopefully work.

If it doesn't, let me know and I'll get it fixed.

Thanks.

Hi,

I've tried to use alpha GUI, but I cannot use it to make APL files.  I'll post detail in Monkey's Audio forum instead here, since it's MAC specific problem.

BTW, there are 2 problems in current MC9 APE plugin.  I just want to show them clear here for the case.

1. Japanese APL tag appears strange in MC9.  This will be fixed by new MakeAPL using Unicode.  I hope so.
2. any APL files inside a directory using Japanese character (encoded by SHIFT-JIS) lose tag information in MC9.  MC9 cannot get tags and song/artist/album names are become unassigned.  This will be fixed once APE plugin stop parsing file path or something, I guess.

Thanks.

Hi Matt,

Thank you for the updation of alpha GUI.  Like I wrote in MAC forum, the latest GUI made good APL files encoded by UTF-8.  And MC9 could show proper tagging information.  It's wonderful.

MC9 itself still has 2nd problem I stated above.  I'm looking forward to new APE plugin that solves this problem.  ;)

Thanks.

BTW, I've just bought MC9.  hehe.  ;D
